Can You Win Her Back If You Made Her Mad?

Women are extremely loyal with girlfriends as well as
brands. Not only that, but they tell EVERYONE about
their experiences. Good or bad.

So if you've made her mad, the best thing you can do
to get her loyalty is great customer service. Customer
service is often the first place businesses ignore
because of the pressure to keep up in so many other
areas. But it's never been more important than now.

If your business has lost a female customer, here are
some strategies to getting her back in the fold:

1. Offer a discount to give your business another try;

2. Write a long letter of apology and let her know you
want her business back;

3. Make her feel cared about and special - the key to
regaining trust.

Obviously these same techniques make sense when it
comes to getting male customers back under your wing
as well. That's what is so wonderful about embracing
these strategies that reach women. We ALL benefit from
a new and effective approach!

If you're looking to reach the female market, you have
to speak HER LANGUAGE. For the first time ever you can
learn to write copy SPECIFICALLY for women. On May 20,
Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero of Red Hot Copy is holding a
hands-on, virtual series for 8 weeks called the "The She
Factor Copywriting Bootcamp."

Want a sneak peek for FRE`E, grab her information-packed

Enthusiasm - What For?

By Connie Cantillo

Do you know why people take the time to listen to you? Or maybe you have noticed that people make excuses not to be around you or they need to suddenly hang up on you? The secret is in what your listener perceives from you – not necessarily what you are saying. Let me explain it to you in very simple words.

Enthusiasm is Catchy:
Having enthusiasm when you talk or write about your family, yourself or your business is key for your listener to want to hear more. It catches your listener’s attention – drawing him or her to you. It is important that you smile when you are talking even if it is through the phone. I guarantee that the person on the other end does “see” that smile through your conversation. This is true as well when you write. If you smile when you write your copy it will translate into the words you are writing, so the message reaches your readers with the same enthusiasm. Hard to believe, but it’s true.

Enthusiasm is Contagious:
Have you noticed that when you carry enthusiasm in your message the response you get from your listener is enthusiastic? That’s because enthusiasm is contagious. The words you say are so full of energy and belief that your listener or reader perceives these feelings from you. He or she is automatically drawn to you and wants to listen closely because he or she believes what you say.

Enthusiasm is Positive Energy:
Have you noticed that when you are enthusiastic you glow with positivism? That’s because enthusiasm is a feeling full of positive energy. There is nothing negative about being enthusiastic. Positive energy attracts positive results (Law of Attraction). People can’t help but to respond positively to your words. They accept what you are saying with much more confidence. They allow you to lead them.

Enthusiasm is KLT:
What is KLT? Know, Like and Trust. When people are caught or engaged in your conversation, they start to know you. As they know you, they start to like you and finally your positive energy will give them the trust they need to continue listening and following you. You are now the expert. They want to hear more from you.

Enthusiasm is a Money Maker:
I guess by now you know why Enthusiasm is a Money Maker, right? When people Know, Like and Trust you they have no problem in hiring your services or buying your products. Your enthusiasm has created this path. Don’t expect it to happen immediately. Some people need more time and information than others to finally get to know, like and trust you. Just be persistent with enthusiasm!

Love what you do and do what you love, it really pays off!!

3 Business Killer Syndromes - Are You Contaminated?

By Connie Cantillo

Are you contaminated with business diseases that you choose not to recognize or maybe even worse, you just don’t know you have them? Through my years of experience in the corporate world and now as a business owner myself, I found that there are at least three business diseases that many entrepreneurs or solo professionals are contaminated with, but do not recognize or simply choose to ignore. These three major issues are like diseases that slowly can kill any business.

Syndrome #1 - “Yes, No Problem”:
In your rush to get your one man business to a profitable level you often, if not always, find yourself accepting every single project from every single client. New prospects quickly are accepted because you need the “money”, right? Well, even though you think your business is being successful it actually is getting very sick… you are getting physically and emotionally sick. Before you hit this stage you need to stop for a moment, step back, put your business and your personal life on a balance and analyze what is happening. Your analysis will provide you with the pros and cons of saying “Yes, No Problem” to every project and every prospect. Most importantly, your analysis will also provide you with the solution or solutions you need to implement to avoid your business from dying of this disease.

Syndrome #2 – “I Don’t Have Time”:
Do you find yourself pronouncing these words once too often? If so, that means you have the “Time Management” disease. You probably haven’t realized that your time management skills need to be reviewed. How much time are you putting into each of your daily activities? Take one day and write down a journal of each activity jotting down the time that you start it and the time you end it. At the end of the day analyze each activity and the length of time you dedicated to it. Is it worth that much time? Is that activity taking up time that is better used on a productive activity or on your family? Your analysis will help you determine where your time should be best allocated.

Syndrome #3 – “I Can Do It Myself”:
Yes, you know how to do it so you think you should do it, right? Wrong. One of the most important skills an entrepreneur should quickly learn is to delegate. You, as a business owner, should be doing ONLY those activities directly related to the core of your business. Everything else can be done by someone else. How to determine what to delegate? Simple. Make two lists. On one list you will write down all the activities that are revenue generating – those that make the money. On the other list you write down everything else. That second list is what you will have someone else do. If you follow this procedure your productivity will increase tremendously. You will feel free and with more energy for yourself and your family.

You may have also noticed that the three syndromes I mentioned above can all be easily cured with applying one simple solution: OUTSOURCING. If you outsource your non revenue generating activities, you will be able to always say “Yes, No Problem” because you will have the necessary support to accept more and more projects and new clients; your Time Management skills will be sharpened and most important, you will be able to give time to do what you really love to do: taking care of yourself, your family and your business.

Do what you love, it really pays off!!

7 Tasks that Decrease Your Productivity

By Connie Cantillo

Having your own business is an experience that many feel very excited to go through; however, few are those that actually succeed. The difference between one who succeeds and one who fails is having the ability to actually perform ONLY those tasks that increase your productivity. Here is a list of 7 typical tasks that are NOT revenue generating however, many business owners tend to spend a lot of time on them or simply ignore them missing out on possible business opportunities.

1. Business Cards Management:

All the business cards you receive during networking events need to be responded to via e-mail and entered into a follow up system. Thanking those you met builds relationships that will turn into business or referrals in the future. Following up with these new contacts and adding them into your e-mail/contact system will keep these new relationships strong.

2. Translations:

More and more people from other nationalities are very anxious to learn from others around the world. If part of your target market speaks a language other than yours or you want to expand your target market, you want to make sure your original message reaches them in their native language in the same tone and the same ideas you are speaking to them in.

3. Proofreading:

Business owners today are realizing that you can write your content on your own, however, it is wise to have someone else proofread your writing. While conversational writing is the most modern and best way to communicate to your target market, it is just as important to make sure there are no typos in your content. Even if you read and reread what you wrote, typos are most likely missed by the writer, but easily caught by a pair of fresh eyes.

4. Agenda Management:

Even though managing your agenda seems to be very easy to do, it can become very time consuming. For example, if you are a speaker, getting your speaking engagement contracts signed, payments received and finally confirming the event on your agenda takes up precious time you can be using to prepare for the engagement or to get more engagements on your agenda.

5. Travel Arrangements:

Today it seems to be very easy to get your travel arrangements done, however, searching for the best options available and coordinating hotel arrangements, ground transportation, car rentals, etc. uses up a good chunk of your time.

6. Teleseminar Set Ups:

Setting up teleseminars is easy, but time consuming when you add up all the bells and whistles that need to fall into place for a successful teleseminar.

7. Blog and Web Site Maintenance/Updating:
The only thing you should do as a business owner for your blog and website is write your content.

This is just a small list of tasks that can be outsourced or taken cared of by someone different from the owner of a business. Outsourcing is one of the essential systems or strategies that every business should have in place if it is serious about being successful.

8 Ways to Boost Your Business Using the Internet

By Connie Cantillo

Did you know that one of the most powerful business boosters is the internet, whether you have an online or offline business? Well, it is. It is a proven fact that if you market your business strategically on the internet, your business will boost. But just having a website is not enough. Strategically implementing several online marketing methods will provide you the exposure you need before your target marketing allowing them to get to know, like and trust you. And you know that when someone knows, likes and trusts you, they will have no problem buying from you and recommending your products or services.

1. Search Engine Marketing:
When in the process of designing and creating content for your website, it is vital that you keep in mind 3 important components of Search Engine Marketing:
· SEO (search engine optimization): Write your ads and content so search engines and humans find your site. Using the appropriate keywords or key phrases, optimizes your site allowing crawlers to find what humans are looking for.
· Pay Per Click: With appropriate keywords and content you can easily place ads via this option which drives traffic to your website or blog site.
· Link-building attracts high quality websites and/or blog sites to link to your website or blog site. This process improves your search rankings and listings.

2. Viral Marketing:
Creating credibility and belief among your followers will instinctively lead to referrals. Remember the old saying “Happy customers bring more customers?” Using periodic and strategic e-mail campaigns, newsletters or e-zines, maintain your presence and increase your exposure which ultimately convert in sales when you present them with a new product. Other means of viral marketing are publishing podcasts, videos, participating in networks, publishing press releases, etc.

3. Affiliate Marketing:
This is a mutual beneficial partnership that creates exposure and passive income. Partnering up with online businesses that are willing to promote your products and services and you promote theirs creates an ongoing revenue-sharing, commission-based relationship.

4. Blogging & Social Marketing:
Business blogging and Social Media Marketing are one of the fastest growing trends in online marketing today. There is nothing like keeping in touch. Allowing others to comment on your blogs and commenting on others increases your exposure and creates credibility. And Social Marketing is in full blast. Participating in forums, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. once again creates exposure, credibility and referrals.

5. Mobile Marketing:
Staying connected with your target marketing through different mobile devices such as cell phones, PDA’s and iPods allows you to keep up with them and learn what their needs and wants are. You can immediately resolve them creating that so much wanted exposure and credibility.

6. Online Lead Generation:
Your business is not your website or store. Your business is your customers, whether online or offline. Without them you do not have a business. Therefore, when marketing online you need to have a list that allows you to communicate with them at their request. That means that your website or blog site should include an “opt in” page which allows your visitors to sign up and become part of your list.

7. RSS:
A powerful web based tool known as RSS (Real Simple Syndication) allows your list to receive immediate updates of your website, videos, content, blogs, forums, etc. through an RSS feed.

8. Email Marketing:
Given that spam filters are now so sophisticated, e-mailing is still a very powerful communication tool. Providing your visitors the opportunity to subscribe to your e-mails gives you automatic permission to include them in your e-mail campaigns and newsletters through which you will send them informative solutions, and offers of products or services.

5 Important Reasons to Love What You Do & Do What You Love

By Connie Cantillo

You are in business because you feel that others would benefit from what you have to offer, either a product or a service. You feel that what you offer has benefit to you personally and you truly believe in and love it, so you want to share it. If these feelings are not in you, then you surely struggle to market your product or service. Let me tell you why.

1) Enthusiasm

Your enthusiasm is the most important tool in your marketing efforts. It is what makes your prospective customers or clients want to buy from you or hire your services. Enthusiasm however is a natural expression of belief and love. If you don’t love what you do, you certainly won’t be able to show enthusiasm at the time of marketing.

2) Attitude
When you love what you do, your attitude is positive and transparent. The benefits of your product or service just come out naturally from you and easily cling onto your prospective customers or clients. Remember that great attitudes move mountains.

3) Passion
Doing what you love drives passion into your life. That passion is transferred into your marketing efforts. People can practically feel what you say if your passion is real because it comes directly from your heart. That only happens if you truly love what you do.

4) Commitment
Your enthusiasm, positive attitude and passion all combined together turn into your commitment to provide exactly what you say you provide. People perceive and feel your commitment before they see it on a signed document. That trust translates into sales and referrals.

5) Vision
Doing what you love provides the vision that creates the commitment you need to fulfill your dream. Having a clear vision of your goals moves you towards them with enthusiasm, great attitude, passion and commitment.

Love what you do and do what you love. It really pays off.
